A Story From the Road
We got a call from a family in Houston. The young woman said, "My mom is way too proud to call, but if we don't get some help, we're going to be homeless soon.
A little background check told us her dad, and her mom's deceased husband, served his country with honor, earning nearly every commendation the military offers except the Congressional Medal of Honor. He had more than one Purple Heart, and a Navy Cross.
Shouldn't we all be a little embarrassed that this family was struggling to pay the rent?
This is where your contributions go.
